A "subprocessor" is a third-party company we use to help run My Book Pad that may process some personal information on our behalf. We keep this list current so you always know who's involved and where they operate. For how we handle your data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
| Provider | What they do | Where they operate |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing, subscription billing, and the customer portal. | United States |
| Google Cloud (Gemini API) | Receipt OCR, only when you explicitly scan a receipt. Images aren't used to train Google's models. | United States |
| Google Workspace / Gmail SMTP | Hosts our support inbox and sends transactional email (receipts, password resets, notices). | United States |
| Apple Push Notification service | Delivers push notifications to iOS devices, using an opaque per-device token. | United States |
| Google Firebase Cloud Messaging | Delivers push notifications to Android devices, using an opaque per-device token. | United States |
| DigitalOcean | Provides the virtual servers that host the Service and store your data. | United States & Canada |
When we plan to add or replace a subprocessor that handles workspace data, we'll update this page and give advance notice by email or an in-product notice, so you have an opportunity to review the change before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
If you need more detail — or a data-processing agreement for your own compliance — email support@mybookpad.com.
